What does a thermal survey include?
The agreed areas are inspected and relevant thermal observations recorded. Your quotation confirms coverage, any additional measurements and the reporting format.
How long does a survey take?
Duration depends on building size, access and the investigation needed. We agree an estimate when quoting and confirm whether the conditions are suitable.
Can thermal imaging confirm damp?
A temperature pattern can suggest an area for investigation, but does not establish moisture by itself. Targeted moisture measurements and other checks may be needed.
Can I combine it with an airtightness test?
Yes, where the building and temperature conditions are suitable. Combining the methods can help investigate air leakage; this is agreed as part of the scope.
